Alban Vineyards Reva Syrah 2013
Wine Spectator Top 100 #79 wine of 2017
"The 2013 Syrah Reva sports an inky color as well as notes of crème de cassis, charred earth, licorice, wood smoke and just hints of the classic iodine and seaweed character that really defines this cuvee. Supple, seamless, silky and opulent, with sweet, sweet tannin and a silky finish. It shows more and more spice with time in the glass, is incredibly polished, layered and balanced. Drink it anytime over the coming 15-20 years' -Jeb Dunnuck
"The 2013 Syrah Reva Alban Estate Vineyard is the largest production Syrah of the three vineyard designates. It's another beautiful looking 2013 that has tons of upfront appeal, full-bodied richness, incredible purity and a building, yet sweet, sweet tannin. It picks up more and more smoked meat characteristics with time in the glass, and like all of John's 2013s, will offer tons of pleasure in its youth, yet also evolve gracefully."- Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Bodegas Mustiguillo Finca Terrerazo
Sunbaked aromas of raisin, baked blackberry and warm earth are not exactly fresh and popping. In the mouth, this full-bodied Bobal rambles at maximum weight. Cassis, raisin and licorice flavors finish warm and with the essence of desiccated black plum and supporting oak. 100% Bobal

Famille Paquet Saint Veran 2018
Wine Enthusiast 90 Points
This tightly wrought, mineral-textured wine has a full-bodied future. It is rich, with touches of apricot as well as apple behind the youthful texture. The wine needs to age, so drink from 2020.

Larmandier-Bernier Latitude Champagne
Previously, this cuvée was called “Tradition”, a name that was chosen in the 1970’s by Pierre’s parents.
We decided on “Latitude” since it seemed to give a better description of this cuvée, with its fully round, rich, charming style.
It is composed exclusively of Chardonnays originating from the same “latitude”: the south of Vertus. This is a generous terroir: the cuvée Latitude is the perfect festive Champagne, which still retains the characteristic pureness of our Estate’s Champagnes.
As a non-vintage, this wine contains 40% of wines from our perpetual reserve started in 2004.

Larmandier-Bernier Longitude magnum
Lively and energetic. The palate is spicy and firm with a soft white pepper backdrop. An accessible and ripe style, fresh and poised at the same time.
Very broad and rich compared with the other wines in this line-up of growers' champagnes. Quite incredible to think that this is an Extra Brut in view of the richness on the palate. Very long.

Larmandier-Bernier Vieille Vigne du Levant 2009
The Chardonnay grapes harvested from the old vines of the Levant offer volume, richness and minerality, with a very long finish, the sign of a great terroir…
"The golden-yellow colored 2009 Vieilles Vignes du Levant Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra Brut is sourced from up to 90-year-old vines in the Bourron du Levant lieu-dit in Cramant. It offers a deep, intense, powerful and complex nose that reminds me of great wines from Burgundy or Jura. Rich, intense and endlessly juicy but also highly finessed and thus seemingly weightless, this is a very complex, persistently mineral and structured Cramant with great tension, finesse and generosity. It sounds like a paradox, but this is the old-vines Cramant from the Larmandier family" Wine Advocate 95 points

Pascal Clement Bourgogne Rouge
To the eye, a richly-colored crimson wine that turns a deeper ruby color with age, all the way to dark purple. To the nose, the bouquet opens on a palette of small red and black fruits (strawberry, cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry) followed by cooked prune with peppery, animal, woody, moss and mushroom touches. Bourgogne Rouge is very lively in the mouth, structured, with a supple, rounded backbone. Its tannins and fruitiness work hand-in-hand, with the chewy tannins balancing the thrust of the secondary aromas. Volume, fullness, in one word: vinous.

Putzenhof Kerner
The Putzenhof 2018 Kerner has wonderful mouthfeel and balance, with intense fruit, minerality and crisp acidity. The finish is clean and refreshing with lingering fruit flavors of apple, lime, white peach, and wild herbs. Try pairing this Kerner with everything from freshwater fish, smoky mushrooms, mild curries, and stuffed cabbages to hearty potato dishes, dumplings, rich cheeses, cured meats, and smoked sausages. Traditional dishes such as spinach dumplings called strangolapreti, or applesauce-glazed pork chops with sautéed mushrooms taste even better accompanied by this Kerner.

Raventos i Blanc de Nit Rosé
Raventos i Blanc was founded in 1986 by Josep-Maria Raventos, a member of the Codorníu family who wished to create a small, quality-oriented winery that would stand apart from the larger wineries in the area. Today they own about 300 acres of vineyards (with a high percentage of chalk in the soil, like Champagne) planted mostly to local varieties such as Macabeo (Viura), Xarel-lo and Parellada. All three of these grapes, as well as a small portion of direct-press Monastrell, are found in this delicate, beautiful rosé bottling.
