"Plenty of tar and berry character. Hints of dried spices. Medium body and a fresh finish. Slate-like minerality. Watch this one."

"The 2016 Peyredon-Lagravette, the Haut-Médoc property owned by Laurence and Stéphane Dupuch, has a crisp and discretely intense bouquet with scents of gravel infusing the black fruit, conservative compared to others but nevertheless, very appealing. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, again, very classic and conservative in style and perhaps flirting with austerity on the finish. I think it will just avoid that by the time of bottling."~Neil Martin
