Prà Monte Grande Soave

$34.99

Monte Grande is an excellent Soave Classico produced by Graziano Prà winery on the volcanic soils of Monteforte d'Alpone. The grapes that make up this white Veneto wine are 70% Garganega and 30% Trebbiano of Soave, harvested separately: Trebbiano di Soave is harvested in mid September, while the cut of Garganega vines is carried out during the first dwaning moon of September. After grapes drying on the vines for 1 month, harvest takes place in mid October.

All grapes are destemmed and pressed softly. Fermentation is carried out at 18 °C in large 15-20 hl casks made of Allier oak. The wine is then left in casks to mature for 10 months. After a press-press, the grapes are pressed softly and ferment at about 18 ° C. The wine is fermented and refined in wood, in large Allier oak barrels of 15 and 20 hectoliters for 10 months.
