"The 2013 Syrah Reva sports an inky color as well as notes of crème de cassis, charred earth, licorice, wood smoke and just hints of the classic iodine and seaweed character that really defines this cuvee. Supple, seamless, silky and opulent, with sweet, sweet tannin and a silky finish. It shows more and more spice with time in the glass, is incredibly polished, layered and balanced. Drink it anytime over the coming 15-20 years' -Jeb Dunnuck
"The 2013 Syrah Reva Alban Estate Vineyard is the largest production Syrah of the three vineyard designates. It's another beautiful looking 2013 that has tons of upfront appeal, full-bodied richness, incredible purity and a building, yet sweet, sweet tannin. It picks up more and more smoked meat characteristics with time in the glass, and like all of John's 2013s, will offer tons of pleasure in its youth, yet also evolve gracefully."- Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Our Bourgogne Pinot Noir Secret de Famille ("Family Secret") is crafted from a carefully sourced blend of grapes from prestigious terroirs of the Côte d'Or region only (around Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Gevrey-Chambertin, Marsannay…). We treat these wines as “villages” wines, where yields are restricted and ageing is adapted for each wine.
This charming wine features predominant fruity aromas of blackcurrant and wild red berries. Velvety and silky, this wine boasts soft, balanced structure on the palate, which ends with a delicate finish reminiscent of red fruit.
A tribute to the late Angelo Rocca, this delicious wine opens with aromas suggesting leather, truffle, mature black-skinned berry, fragrant blue flower and a whiff of menthol. The smooth, full-bodied palate offers mouthfuls of red cherry, juicy raspberry, and a note of cake spice while fine-grained tannins provide polished support.
The Pesquera Tinto's cherry red color reveals its youth and fruitiness. Its aspect is clean and appears to be glyceric. On the nose, the wine's intense bouquet reveals the best dark fruit marked by impeccable wood aromas. Hints of fallen leaves and spices such as vanilla. On the palate, the smooth entry becomes lush with abundant ripe tannins and an excellent balance between its acidity and heat. The presence of the well-integrated oak complements the fruit and spice beautifully to display a wine of great balance. A refined, long-lasting and elegant finish.
Pairs perfectly with roasted meats, farm yard poultry, veal stews as well as semi-cured cow and/or goat cheese.
"Black cherry and red plum flavors are fresh and lively in this juicy red. Light, firm tannins and citrusy acidity keep this focused. Balanced and energetic. Drink now through 2023. Tasted twice, with consistent notes."- Wine Spectator
A bright deep red color with streaks of violet. Full and elegant on the nose, with a wide range of aromas, such as vanilla, ripe fruits, compote and syrups. The palate is opulent and elegant with harmonious tannins providing a subtle backbone to the wine; great aromatic persistence in the mouth. Designed to drink well on release, the tannins will nevertheless support at least 10 years further ageing.
Brunello di Montalcino is the ambassador of top quality Italian wines around the world, the first wine to receive the DOCG appellation. Brunello is a brilliant ruby red colour, tending towards garnet red with age. Its bouquet is intense, pure, pleasant and refined, reminiscent of sweet violet, tobacco, chocolate and pleasant hints of wild berries and vanilla. Its flavour fully confirms the above in a well-balanced, full-bodied wine with good tannins and a solid structure.
"This wine opens to a thin and streamlined appearance. The 2014 Brunello di Montalcino mirrors the main characteristics of the vintage with a clean mouthfeel and bright berry aromas. The Brunellos from 2014 are better suited to near or medium-term drinking and that's definitely the case with this wine. I'd suggest a pairing with your favorite pasta dish topped with creamy cheese sauce. Sangiovese has the natural acidity to cut through any fatty foods. This expression from Altesino achieves more fruit ripeness in 2014 with aromas of plum, dark cherry and dried cassis."- Wine Advocate
It is a wine with an attractive collection of balsamic notes, of chocolate and black fruits, very warm in the mouth and an extremely pleasant finish.
"Plenty of blueberry and blackberry character with hints of spices. Medium body. Fresh finish. Hints of chocolate add to the complexity. Drink now."

The reason why we’re here today. Amizetta Estate has been specializing in Cabernet Sauvignon since the first plantings in 1979, when Spencer and Amizetta Clark pioneered hillside farming in the Napa Valley. Our small sized Cabernet Sauvignon berries have extremely high skin to juice ratios, creating rich and silky dark fruit. This wine is fermented at low-temperatures allowing for softer and consistent extraction from the thick skins. If you’re looking for a single wine that epitomizes Amizetta, look no further. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon excels at our estate Margarita Vineyard, where it achieves both ripeness and balance amid one of the coolest, longest growing seasons in the Paso Robles region. Here, our Cabernet Sauvignon vines are planted to a range of soil types, bringing added natural complexity to the wine.
This Merlot is loaded with bold aromas of violets, dried cherries, toasty oak, and spice. A velvety texture is framed by sturdy yet supple tannins on the finish.

The Grenache expresses all its qualities through the wine: exuberance of red fruit, roundness of tannins. The Syrah and the Cinsault bring their structure and elegance. The 2016 vintage, with exceptional climatic conditions, allowed the Grenache to fully express itself. This cuvee Est Ouest is then the perfect wine for an aperitif between friends or to de-stress after a hard day of work.

The year 2016 was a good one for grapes in the northern part of Sonoma County. Our cooler vineyard sites had the unique advantage of a long and moderate growing season. With this mellow, even weather, our fruit ripened gently. The result: deep flavors with complex, integrated tannins, and lively characteristics that make this vintage one of our best.
Four hillside Cabernet vineyard sites, all with mineral-rich volcanic soils, are always the first focus of this blend. In 2016, our Merlot harvest was particularly incredible, yielding stunning acidity with full and silky tannins. It was a perfect partner to the vivid fruit profile of our Alexander Valley Cabernet vineyards. This year's blend of the two achieves an uncommon, sophisticated balance.
Blend: 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot
Araujo is considered one of the greatest Napa Valley wines of all time, and "the object of a cult like no other among California wine lovers" according to Robert Parker. One of the most extraordinary vineyards of Napa Valley Araujo's Eisele Vineyard, which boasts a 40+ year history of producing compelling wines.
Made from 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot, the wine exudes heady aromas of black currant, blackberry and dark plum, enhanced by touches of anise, smoke, cinnamon and cola. In the mouth, the fruit notes are pure cassis spiced with nutmeg and sarsaparilla, leading to more earthy notes of loam, graphite and espresso. The wine is dense and concentrated but balanced, its core sweetness embraced by firm but silky tannins; the wine seems to dance across the palate into a lingering finish of spice and minerals. Notes winemaker Françoise Peschon: Beginning with soft creaminess on the attack, becoming powerful and rich in the mouth, and finishing with a supple sweetness, there is tension in this wine that holds your interest throughout. It is a wine of power, persistence and grace.
Argiano’s Brunello di Montalcino is distinguished by its elegance and its deep ruby red color. It presents a good concentration on the mid-palate and a persistent aftertaste, with a rounded and voluptuous body, and interesting, silky tannins. It unites potency and elegance and looks like having a promising future. With its tempting perfumes of red berries and its clean freshness, the complexity of this wine presents an excellent balance.
To fully appreciate its qualities, decant the wine at least one hour before serving.
"Fantastic aromas of orange peel and dark berry with plenty of plum and cherry. Sweet tobacco and mushrooms. Full body, juicy and fruity with firm tannins and a fresh finish. Complex and gorgeous. Fine and very long."- James Suckling
Our coldest vineyard for Syrah, Clary has been harvested as late as November 18th at under 12% alcohol. The protracted growing season paired with the sedimentary clay-loam soils slow the ripening and allow us to farm without irrigation resulting in fruit that is deeply pigmented and loaded with flavor. The resulting wines we have made exhibit soaring aromatics, expressive exotic spice notes, and high natural acidity that are hallmarks of this wind scraped vineyard.
earthy notes of cinnamon and cloves that follow the full and fruity attack, with berries in the middle pallet. The wine coats the tongue ending with a juicy, spicy finish and bright acidity. Robust butifarra sausages (a plump white sausage
made from pork, garlic, and spices), fricandó (a hearty veal and mushroom dish), roasted vegetables served with a tangy Romesco sauce, roast duck or cassoulet, roasted chicken, or couscous with chorizo and fennel would be delicious and
perfect dishes to accompany this “natural” Garnacha.
